Any ideas on where I can get info on starting a community center in my area?

Posted on January 24th, 2010 by admin in center of volunteers | 3 Comments »

I’m looking to establish a center that promotes tolerance, volunteering and positive values.

Talk with the police. They usually have some people to help give problems on tolerance. Talk to hospitals, churches, civic clubs, scouting programs and families on how to get it started and where to get it started at. Also some times the electric companies, welcome centers, and other government building will have information to find the help you need.

how old do you have to be to volunteer in a daycare center?

Posted on January 24th, 2010 by admin in volunteer center of | 4 Comments »

i want to run a daycare when i get older, and i was wondering if i could volunteer there. im 14, but more than likely i will volunteer in the summer, and i will be 15 in july.

I’m not sure about volunteering, but I worked at one when I was 16. It can’t hurt to go in and ask, the worst they can say is come back in a couple of years. If you can’t volunteer at a public daycare, try asking around at churches. They can always use the extra help.

I’m not at home hey teenager take a look at me. Straight workin at a park for no price for free. Pickin up trash, and savin puppies here. Just be like me you teenager cause I volunteer.

Get the Favre itch, to volunteer kids. We give back everyday cause we enjoy it. Go to old homes, listen to pops stories, Gonna tell you all about it-just try to stop me

I’m tutorin a student, the only time I sit. The student’s learnin, ask me If Im happy- you bet. Improvin his/her world, this as good as it gets. Go volunteer hey teenager don’t you ever forget.

I volunteered man, at Ozaukee and, I got some volunteer hours for graduation. I always help the world, aidin all types o people. If you wont help girls, then you’re sure not me, oh.

Come on get up , go volunteer.

Be the man, donate clothes, volunteerer. Like me, you could give toys, volunteerer. Do some service with your boys, volunteerer. Helpin out is a joy, volunteerer.

Hey ma, if you could see me now, workin hard with some sweat on my brow. Gonna make a difference in this world somehow, Like Jerry Lewis, lets go out and help people.

Yea. Whether you go help out a home, or just decide to pick up a road, Volunteer, Just like me, oh

Come on now todays the day, go out and change the world your way, Please Listen when I say, Go Volunteer, heyyyy

Shawtay. Shawtay. Yeaaah, yea, yea.

***yes, I know they don’t all rhyme the best, and they are not all the same syllables as I’m on a boat, but I thought it came out nicely
