Can anyone tell me what kind of volunteer work be done at an Air Force base? I went to the Airman and Family readiness center to ask but the lady said just anything.. but then i’m like well I still dont know like what is it that I can help so I’m stuck now, I know I can do like some front desk work and stuff but I know there are a lot more. I also want to do some Red Cross volunteer so any suggestions?
Thanks.

Almost ever base has a museum, and they are always looking for volunteers to conduct tours, or scan paperwork. Try there if it sounds interesting. Every base also has a red cross office, and you could volunteer there and help them with answering the phones and doing paperwork.

Which college should i go to? (where can i get accepted?)?

i’ve never taken any AP courses

You have excellent extracurrics. The only thing I’d be concerned about is your SAT score and lack of AP’s. If you have a chance, retake the SAT and try for a better score. Boston University or Northeastern may be good matches for you (still a bit of a reach), but really try to get your SAT score up!

Edit- just read the UMass post. UMass Amherst is an excellent school. It’s in western Mass, but it’s in one of the best college towns, as it’s located near 4 other colleges. If you go to UMass Amherst, you can take classes at those other colleges, including Amherst College :)
