Located at 5291 East 60th Avenue in Commerce City Colorado the Family Resource has served over 570 students from every Adams 14 school including the preschools, the charter school and Migrant Education.

The Clothing and Food Pantry is actually located in the old city hall where the jails were located in the basement. The old city hall is now currently the Adams 14 administration center.

The program was built and is sustained entirely by volunteers resulting in over 3,000 volunteer hours since October 16, 2007. It is operated entirely by volunteers and managed by the Adams 14 Volunteer/Community Program. It is a “hand up” program helping families move ahead. Clients are referred by principals, health workers, Migrant Education staff and Adams 14 staff.

UPS, the largest employer on Commerce City has donated approximately $110,000 volunteer hours and supplies.
