As we’ve been reporting, to date, millions of people have been renouncing the Chinese communist regime. This past weekend, celebrations were held to mark a milestone of 37 million resignations. And apparently, in Flushing, New York, organized crowds have been repeatedly harassing the Quit the CCP Center since this weekend.
Estimates of as many as a few hundred Chinese gathered on the opposite side of Center to threaten and intimidate the supporters of those who are renouncing the communist party. Now, here’s our report from Flushing, New York.
STORY:
On May 20, volunteers helping people renounce their membership to the Chinese Communist Party set up their booth in Queens, New York just as they have for the past four years. About ten minutes after setting up their booth, Chinese people started to gather. A few from the crows began cursing at the volunteers and then went on to destroy service center banners. They even physically attacked one a worker, cutting him on the ear.
Police had to intervene and separate the two groups with barriers. They arrested one of the violent aggressors.
Thanks to police efforts the situation was kept under control. Later people in the Chinese crowd threw water bottles at service center supporters. Police then arrested another protester.
Behind the crowd a Falun Gong practitioner with her baby who said she wanted to get into the library was also pushed by the crowd of Chinese. These acts shocked a passerby.

In the afternoon Congressman John Liu came to try to calm down the situation. He warned that intolerance and violence aren’t acceptable in the United States.
