I am looking into online fire fighting and paramedic classes. I was wondering if i have just as good of a chance of getting hired as either a fire fighter or a emt from doing online classes and volunteer work

That depends on who does the hiring. Your best bet is to contact the places you would like to work and ask them. You also need to make sure the programs are accredited for getting certified in your state.

But such classes really dont’ do much without the practice and experience you get in a classroom.
