Should I get a job this next or volunteer?
I’m 18, about to start college . This summer I had a BLAST volunteering at the center I go to. But I have never had job experience at all. I can’t get one on campus because of income, and not getting one during the school year. But I really want to go back next summer and volunteer, but I really want a job so I can get generate income & have experience. I can only pick one. Which one should I lean into?
and ok what keeps me coming back are these hot guys that work at the volunteer center.
But seriously, what should I do & why? I got really attathed to volunteering, will I let go by next summer?
(I only volunteer this summer because I couldn’t find a job)
Volunteering is wonderful experience and community spirit is a great asset to a resume.
But it doesn’t provide needed income.
Ideally (if your studies don’t suffer), you could do some of both.
