It’s true, America is a free country, and you can say what you want about the government on this channel. I am just saying that I don’t think this video was the appropriate place to write your comments. Next time, instead of posting comments on a video about community service, post a comment on a video pertaining to Gen. McChystal or the VP, not a bunch of high school students. And I do not what you to think I am arguing politics with you, I could care less!

What an odd thought.
The YouTube chan of the WhiteHouse, a place that provides a home and work place for a political office holder, is not a fora for political discussion.
Not to belittle your charitable efforts for the victims of cancer, but there is a much bigger world out there and from all obsverations VP Biden is not all that busy. It’s a veritable tradition, with the recent exception of VP Cheney, that the position of Vice Pres is Public Relations.

Hats of Hope is the non-profit organization that I started that knits hats for cancer patients. I deleted the comment because I didn’t want to stoop to your level. I am completely offended that you would pick a video like this to write inappropriate political statements. Politics aside, the VP took time out of his busy day to recognize students who are making a difference in this nation. You should be ashamed for writing not only the original comment, but the one above!

Did they teach them Socialism does not work. Not in pieces and not in full. The idea of “from each according to his ability and to each according to his need” only works within the confines of the family, because the family has a vested interest in its further success. Government is not so encumbered. The Government has not the slightest care whether or not you or your family carry on.

Did they teach them Socialists want a Utopia without money, suffering and pain. A “New World Order” so to speak. To get there, they need to collapse or overthrow all Capitalist systems, and overwhelm the system with government-funded welfare programs. When the programs fail, they create animosity towards “rich” people for not paying their “fair share”. They then overthrow the system or take over when it collapses and promise “fair” distribution of the resources.

Did they teach them Blacks and Latinos are the only groups in America that bought into the bullsh** that the Man was keeping them down. Everyone else looks at the first person to break a barrier (age, race, endurance, etc) as a motivator. Most people believe the old adage “anything you can do, I can do better.” But not us. We are constantly about how we can’t, and it’s white people’s fault.

Did thet teach them Progressives are trying to institute many of Karl Marx’s policies, in part because they have no concept of Liberty and Morality, but mostly because they ignore the lessons of History. They like to tell you that the reason Socialism and Communism fail is because it hasn’t been tried under the right conditions yet. Marx, himself, believed that it would work best in a country that would have been at one time the very seat of Capitalism.

Did they teach them in order for the Democrats to win the White House in 2008, the Democratic Party must keep a “lock” on the black vote, and they are counting on black Americans accepting all of the negative rhetoric spewed out about the Republican Party without question. What they are not counting on is black Americans seeing through the Democratic Party’s deception, hypocrisy, and re-written history

Did they teach them Democrats lynched and terrorized Republicans, black and white, until they drove Republicans out of the South. This led to the South voting solidly for the Democratic Party for over 100 years after the Civil War because the Republican Party was known as the party for blacks.

Without any doubt these progressives must be stopped and driven out our Democratic Party.
