the college graduates would obviously have higher levels of education than the elementary school students; but the point I was making is that this gives the school systems incentive to hire untrained teachers at much lower salaries than a person trained with a bachelors in elementary education and a teaching certificate.

In NYC almost 1/3 of the teachers are young college grads working for programs such as this; which mean’t many trained teachers had to be laid off.

I’m don’t quite get …
I’m don’t quite get what you mean , wouldn’t college graduates have more background in education than those that you refer to “children” ;since the graduates already should have already experienced at least 15 years of education?

I agree with what …
I agree with what she said . Having the right adult , one who is committed to the children , changes a child dramatically ,but a kid don’t only need such an adult from 8 – 3 P.M. they need it beyond the hours of what school is currently providing.

Of course i don’t think forcibly keeping a child for extended periods of time in school , longer than what they already experience, is the solution either.

The international elite that runs America and the world wants to destroy America and everything it stands for. That’s why the educational system has be attacked in California. Thousands of teachers in LA have been laid-off. In Los Angeles, less than 50% of students graduate from high school. This is by design. My advice to all people: Learn to grow your own food and learn to shoot a rifle. This country is toast. Peace…out.

Sounds good at face …
Sounds good at face value; but aren’t certified teachers (who get paid a higher salary whilst having more experience) much more needed by inner city children than newly graduated college students who have little to no background in education?
