    Personally I think …
Personally I think Michael Jackson died because he couldn’t stand having Obama for president. I wish everyone out there knew half of what us on this page do. Have you seen the riots at the G20 in Pittsburgh? Doesn’t seem like the same kinda cops to me as the ones breaking up riots in the sixties.. no they’ve pumped it up a bit. Now America can be in fear of it’s government too,,, it won’t be by the people for the people because the 2nd amendment is next, and that is why it was wrote in the 1st p

Hillary will run at Obama in 2012.

    Obama, he said, “a …
Obama, he said, “a president who was voted into office on the promise of change said he wanted lower premiums. That changed. He said he wouldn’t raise taxes. That changed. He said he wanted lower costs. That changed. He said he wouldn’t cut Medicare benefits. That changed.”

  5. 380Banshee Says:

    There are no …
There are no american supporters for OBAMA. OBAMA has given the banks power to keep the majority of americans suppressed. If the Banks callapsed, all of our mortgages would have been erased. Obama enslaved america. OBAMA is a corporate promoter and a slave driver.

    Thank you wise …
Thank you wise foreigner. Be assured that the sane outnumber the ignoRANTers who believe that humanity is only for citizens?! You are forgiven. Let’s act like the Christ you say you follow. Jesus demonstrated care and protection for the least of these, the un-rich, the children and those in need. We reclaim the health care system corrupted by lawmakers bought by BIG Insurance who are now voting as told/sold. Govt for the people, by the people- not the corporation. The Time is now! Peace of mind.

I live in the UK …
I live in the UK where every citizens health care needs are provided for. If I or any loved ones get ill and needs to see a doctor or go to hospital, we don’t worry about how we are going to pay for it, its already covered in our taxes (which are not that high!). Surely the very least we should expect from our elected government is protection and care for the most vulnerable of our society?Good luck Americans, I hope you all realise healthcare is not a business, it’s a basic human right.

    My personal opinion …
My personal opinion is that all systems need to be remade, none of them are nearly efficient enough for my likings. Especially currencies, I don’t like the idea of currencies.. but all that can be done without something short of an apocalypse are relatively small changes such as the one here. Unfortunately for you, you don’t want it and good for you for voicing your opinion but everybody should know by now, personal opinions are worth no more than a fraction of a penny figuratively speaking

  9. designtoad Says:

    You must include …
You must include governmental control and influence as well. US studies have shown that of those that aren’t covered, 12-14 M are not citizens (and wouldn’t be covered under the public option anyway). Over 9 M make over $75K a year and can afford insurance if they want it. And 10 M are already covered by existing programs, but haven’t filled out the paperwork (Medicare, Medicaid, VA benefits…).

The system isn’t perfect, but we don’t need to remake it (Obama-style). Just fix problem areas.

  10. Sagenth Says:

    Well apparently you …
Well apparently you can’t post websites, so owell I had a number of articles a few studies etc.. but i guess this will have to do.
Have you ever stopped to look at the arguments against universal health care? They are primarily based upon expenses and wait times, instead of the number of people who have not received proper medical attention, and suffered due to that. Or how many people who don’t have health care and needed it, who couldn’t be insured.. etc etc the people who don’t get helped

  11. Sagenth Says:

    Oh no, …
Oh no, illegal immigrants are going to not be left to die of sicknesses!?!? THIS IS MADNESS!! Everybody got this? Stop the bill!! else people in the country illegally won’t be left to die!! This is just inhumane!! to the legal citizens I mean

    >.>

  12. designtoad Says:

If you are too lazy …
If you are too lazy to do any real research, please reference a hack of a movie. Sicko is the grandest crock of leftist propaganda. If you are looking for truth, you never go to Mikey Moore.

  13. Sagenth Says:

    Instead it is a …
Instead it is a good idea to have companies who need to save money, have them give you care. If your too lazy to compare countries with and without government funded health care watch sicko. It is like a crash course on the subject. and I’d just like to point out, governments aren’t efficient period. A dictatorship is the closest thing to a government that functions efficiently. The only way you folks have to save money, is to stop funding your military lol gl on that

  14. AutumnTwilight06 Says:

    Well i know they’re …
Well i know they’re not ahead as far as healthcare methods but I mean the way its handled is what they’re trying to do. I hope that’s what they’re trying to do. I mean, its kinda a shame the way hospitals and health care have become a market rather than what its supposed to be: a place to heal the sick and help the wounded.

  15. designtoad Says:

    I’ve been to some …
I’ve been to some of the other countries–the US is way ahead. Our goal needs to be to reduce the costs associated with our current system.

  16. AutumnTwilight06 Says:

    I don’t think …
I don’t think they’re trying to control healthcare I think they’re trying to catch us up with the other countries who have universal healthcare.

  17. designtoad Says:

I live in the US …
I live in the US and have never seen a person denied care because of lack of insurance–because it is against the law. That’s is why those without insurance go to the emergency room.

Government services are not known for saving money, being efficient or for customer service (DMV, Post Office, Medicare, VA hosptials….). Why would you want government in healthcare–higher taxes is not a good reason.

  20. ajack50 Says:

    you dont have a …
you dont have a clue this bill will most definately destroy all private insurance because insurance companies will not be able to compete with govt plans that dont have to makle a profit or pay taxes and all employers will dump the company plans as it will be more cosdt effective and that is socialism, odumba has already taken over banks, car companies, financial institutions, I am against this idiot and his agenda and you should bve also,it is the end of America, fuck odumbass

  21. TheIasc Says:

If you had even an …
If you had even an inkling of understanding of this bill, you would see it is not socialism. In socialism, the government controlls everything; President obama’s plan KEEPS PRIVATE INSURANCE COMPANIES IN BUSINESS. He’s just creating another option for those people who have been denied coverage because of pre-existing ailments or for those who are unemployed and can’t afford the egregious prices of private health-care. Try reading it and understanding it instead of listening to right-wing liars.

  22. Idolcruisefix Says:

    if i knew of 8 …
if i knew of 8 doctors and 2 investors with an x-ray machine and a stock pile of doc stuff, preferably a little botanicals and silver and gold, maybe some ozone and a chiropractor for the nuts if they like, i would pay them every pay check insted.

  23. designtoad Says:

    Insurance companies …
Insurance companies have had record years–which is 4-5% profit. Most Wall Street companies have an 8% profit margin. Obama is trying to demonize anyone that opposes HIS plan.

91% have health insurance. 85% of those are satisfied with their country.

So, reform should fix issues, not remake the system (which is 1/6 of the economy). Keep the government out of healthcare.

Note: Obama voted against healthcare reform when he was in the Senate. Hypocrite.

  24. ajack50 Says:

its not that I like …
its not that I like insurance companies but I dont stand behind socialism and thats all this idiot is proposing,he doesnt care about you either what he does care about is control of your life and control over freedom, odumba and his chicago thugs, he is going down faster than a roller coaster in the polls and in 2010 we will vote out his left wing cronies and right wingers that back him, so you keep on talking bs

  25. DeeperBlueThought Says:

    ajack50 are you …
ajack50 are you serious? Well for one thing you’re talking a load of crap…but everyone can see that anyway so that doesn’t matter.

What does matter is that you seem so caring about the people in the insurance industry. I’ve worked in the insurance industry and those guys couldn’t give a **** about you..so you caring about them seems a bit foolish to me.
