		<description>1. There appears to be no list, set out in the way that you would like. Therefore you would have to draw up your own list, relying on the claim of each particular charity. However, the alleged numbers may not be informative for comparison purposes, anyway, because people have different levels of commitment; and so the number of volunteer hours (if the data were available) would be a more useful comparator.  

2. Here are the numbers of volunteers claimed made by some organisations ....
a) Salvation Army
