What can I do to honor my volunteers within my business group?
I am a disabled, photographer and writer. I’ve been blessed with three wonderful volunteers that help me with my work all of which are out of state. Each of them work hard and communicate often and well.
What are some good ideas that I can use to honor them for their help?
Sometimes the biggest thing you can do in life is the most simple.
I personally would say find a nice card and write a personal message to them, expressing how you feel and thanking them for everything that they have done for you.
Then along with the letter, you can give them a small gift. Usually I like to buy gift cards and put them along with my card and give it to the person. If you do decide to do this, just be sure that the card you get can be used at any location. (I usually get the American Express gift cards that can be used anywhere so they can essentially use it anywhere that they like.)
Or since you mentioned that you are photographer, you can perhaps give them one of your work, framed…particularly something that they would like and mean something to them. It would be a nice little piece to have and I personally think would make a nice present. But everyone has a different opinion and some might frown upon it.
Doing the picture in a frame could be a bit pricey so it’s up to you. You can do a combination of the two if you really wanted but it just depends on how much you really want to spend.
Just remember, something simple can mean a lot.
Hope that helps.
